First of all, I’m relieved to see that Will Arnett no longer looks as TAN as he often looks:
Second, I’m glad that Amy decided to match her dress to her eyes. What is not a good idea for one’s eye shadow is not always a bad idea for one’s wardrobe.

There’s got to be some crazy Spanx under that, but she looks fantastic. In the pilot of Up All Night, Will looked so cute with his (relatively) pale face and FRECKLES.
Don’t like the dress. It’s a bit tight across her tummy, plus the plain sleeves and neckline make it drab. Also, her hair is too light.
I love her and once I got over the similarities to scubagear I loved the dress too!
I loved this one! But, I must say, I was in the minority, at least amongst my friends. She looks radiant here.
Eh, Clare Danes’ blue metallic dress was better.
Was the tiny belt thing a feature of this dress or did she add it herself, as either way, not a wonderful accent to the dress.
I LOVE Amy Poehler, and she looks gorgeous, as always. I do like the colour of this dress, but agree with Bella that it’s a bit tight, especially across her chest and stomach Maybe if it was a size bigger?
This dress is hideous. Is it made out latex?
I hated this dress at first but it has really grown on me. This is probably mostly because the color is fab and I love Amy Poehler more than words can say.
Hair: too light. Dress: boring. Amy herself: yes please.
Yeah, I thought this dress was terrible. Agree with Duke O. I spent the night wondering if it was made out of deflated balloons. And it was definitely NOT flattering to her stomach region.
I don’t think it’s very flattering on her.
I LOVE Amy Poehler, and I like the dress, in theory. However, I think it’s too small/tight. I don’t like worrying whether or not someone can breathe.
What I want to know is what bribe can we offer to get her to try a little less extreme a hair color. Cookies? Spa vacay?
Weird fabric, great color. I want her hair looser.
Otherwise: damn, girl.
Her hair is way too light, it made her look orange. That dress would look better if she had gone up a size and if she would lose the smug smirk she’s always sporting that’s reinforced whenever Tina Fey is around.
I don’t care for this dress. It looks like the glitter spandex clothes they sell at American Apparel. I think had it been shorter or not had sleeves it would have looked better.
This is liquid cobalt and flawless. I thought she was about 22 until I zoomed in. And he’s just cute as a button. The best looking men all have senses of humor- Laurie, Colbert, Hamm, and this charming gent who I only know from the Will Farrel ice skating movie.
I always think her hair looks too blonde in photos, but it’s just right on “Parks & Rec.” I can’t explain it…
The texture of this one is interesting. It’s hard to tell if it’s leather, latex, spandex…?
The color and cut are nice, but as everyone else has said, it could have been a size bigger.
I dont think its a very flattering dress. Its not really doing much for her figure, and its too tight in the tummy. I love Amy, but I think she could have looked better.
@Arralethe, I agree that Claire Danes dress was technically better but I think Amy wins through sheer force of personality since Claire looked so sulky all night. I like the dress, actually. Shiny!
Also, if Amy ever gets tired of Will, I’d be happy to step in for her.
Love Amy and I love Will. Love the colour of this dress but I think I would have loved the entire look more if it had a halter top and wasn’t so tight across the stomach, but let’s give her a break because didn’t she just have a baby?
I’m in the “nay” camp. It’s too tight and looks … robotic, somehow.
My competition leotard was made out of the exact material when I was a gymnast. Some things should just never cross contaminate.
Amy and Will are one of the couples I’m absolutely in love with, and she helped make the show memorable but I’m also going to have to say no to this dress. Just too tight. She’s got a lovely figure and it just looked uncomfortable!
The color is great, but the fabric is not–all I see is late 80s swimwear–and I cannot get past how tight the bodice and sleeves are. NOT a flattering fit at all.
How can this not be a Homeric FUG?!?!
“Flawless”? In a way, I love her so much that I kind of appreciate that other people like it. But Jesus – the fabric looks like that material scuba diving jumpers are made of. It looks weird and cheap, being too tight around her armpits, chest and tummy – I can see her belly button and I don´t really want to. The covered up shoulder plus the constricted high up cleavage cut her head out of the figure, by making too much contrast (maybe a V-neck would have made wonders to unfug that). It reminds me of my outfits when I started to work as a teacher in the 90´s trying to disguise my chest using the wrong trick.
I think she looks amazing in this. It fits her exactly without pulling and wrinkling, and the color is perfect for her.
She’s in my Top 10 Best Dressed of the Night! I ♥ that metallic blue dress, which fit her like a glove! I WANT IT!!! I like the red nailpolish, but I would’ve also done red lips!
Also: uniboob.
I thought this was awful! Way too tight, too plain (strangely), and she looks bald with her hair like that. Ugh. And I like her!
We’ll have to part ways on this, Fug Girls, because I think this is terrible. She can do a lot better. With the dress, I mean, not the man. It’s just not flattering. Love the color, do not like the design.
HATE the dress. HATE the hair. LOVE Amy Poehler and wish that she’d done better with this one. When her category got up on stage, I remember thinking, “Oh man, Amy looks so bad in comparison to the rest of them.” (Yes, even Melissa McCarthy, who looked just okay.)
These Armani dresses are not my favorite – not forgiving at all! Despite that, she looks like she’s enjoying herself. Maybe with less severe hair it would have looked much better.
am I the only one who was deeply creeped out as a kid when Dorothy asked the make-over givers in Oz “Can you dye my eyes to match my gown?”
No, but now that color contacts are an option, I guess I always forget about that part when I watch it now.
I adore Amy Poehler, but I don’t like this dress. The color is fine, but the fabric is cheap-looking and not flattering. But, I especially don’t like the t-shirt sleeves and neckline. I just think Amy is much too pretty for this dress.
What is wrong with you?! You gave this a passing grade?! Yes, the color is awesome; yes, the fabric shimmer thing is kind of awesome. But from the bust up (pun intended) it’s shameful. The crewneck and sleeves completely ruin it. And hello, someone just did her roots like THE SAME AFTERNOON… she should know better than to do that, her scalp is radioactive, that combo’d with the shiny-ness of the dress makes her look like an alien! It could’ve been SO SO much better than this, and she fugged it up royally. And Will Arnett is STILL too tan in this pic. I think you needed a nap before writing this one.
First of all, I LOVE Amy and never miss Parks & Rec. But that dress, especially in motion, was WAY too tight. The color is great but it fits like a shiny sausage casing. Terrible. And I wish that whoever colors her hair could bring it down about five shades. Neither she nor Leslie Knope deserve such horribly over-processed locks.
