Fehs and Fines: Sophia Bush

fug-or-fab

Sophia Bush went to the Total Recall premiere last night, and looking at her there sent me down a What Has Sophia Bush Won Lately? rabbit hole. I’m glad she has a job — a new CBS sitcom that looks kind of questionable, but also has Michael Urie, whom I love, and Brandon Routh, whose face I love — because she goes everywhere, and that means: material.  I am, however, saddened that this show will not involve someone’s heart getting eaten by a dog, and while I think Sophia was good on One Tree Hill (sincerely, and especially back when they let Brooke be a crazy bitch who painted the word WHORE on her best friend’s prom dress and also punched her in the face), I have my doubts that she is actually sitcom-style comedic. (I was about to say that I actually feel the same way about her co-star David Krumholtz until I remembered that he is kind of great in Ten Things I Hate About You, which is actually kind of great all around.) Please bear in mind that this is a woman who went to so many fashion shows that we actually named an award after her, for the most ubiquitous starlet of the Fashion Week, as we look at her recent press junket-y fashion parade.

Peyton actually painted whore on Brookes dress and punched her in the face and oh god my life is sad that this is what my brain creates room for.

To be fair, those details are hard to remember in between sex tapes and pyscho killer prom dates. Ah, the OTH glory days.

Peyton painted the “whore” (or was it “bitch”?) on Brooke’s dress, and Peyton also did the face-punching, :)

It all blends together at this point. Who’d have thought Peyton would end up looking amazing and making out with Matt Bomer in the end?

I stopped watching One Tree Hill after Peyton left, so I’m glad to see her back on White Collar… She’s such a good actress!

It’s all very tame. Which is kind of nice I guess. Feh. Love the “wine bag” comment in the last pic. I think that dress would look lovelier if it was fitted

Very fine. Very safe. The white blazer with the black lapels is too big, so that’s preventing me from really digging an outfit which I would otherwise be tempted to wear. I think she looks the best in the red dress (which I actually could not pull off, so I admire the ability to wear a simple red dress) and in the boob shelf dress, but I wish we had a photo where you could see the whole thing. I’m basing my opinion on how great her head looks.

She reminds me to appreciate the Olsens, the Hathaways, and all the other frequent GFY characters…if everyone was dressed safely, what a boring world this would be!

ps – Love the shoes on outfit 4, but do not love the proportions of that one. Skirt is good, but the jacket is too long.

She is so incredibly pretty. And so awesome back in the old OTH days. I just wanted to say that I really think she looks even prettier with darker hair – I really dislike the ombre hair trend and wish it would go away.

I liked all of the outfits, except for #4, even though I like the shoes! And, I actually LOVE the last one… I’d wear it! Plus, I love the styling, hair, makeup & accessories! FAB, Brooke!

I have such a girl crush on her. I love her voice! But I am not digging the lighter hair.

I almost fell asleep looking at the slides, these outfits are so boring! I swear I saw the red outfit on the cover of Good Housekeeping. The little black and white one, and the maxi skirt , were firmly in the “not so bad I guess” category, the rest of the outfits were just oddly selected and assembled.

The “partially flammable” comment in slide 4 made me think that the background of the letter E behind her resembled a Cold War radioactive symbol. It’s not really *that* close, but it’s weird how the mind works. My mind, at any rate.

I absolutely loved David Krumholtz in 10 Things I Hate About You- “I’m thinking about buying a Tercel”

    … the best!

Sophia is so very pretty, but as with Leighton Meester, the highlights are doing her a disservice she looks much better with dark brown hair.

Anyone else notice that she’s reused that belt on the pink dress? She wore the same one with a gray dress in 2009. There’s a picture of it in one of the related posts. I love it when celebrities do that.
