Fug Madness 2010: Printable Bracket and Play-In Contestants

And so it’s done: This season’s contenders have filled out the field, with the exception of our mysterious play-in participants. Many might think we left out SWINTON as some kind of statement, but really, we just thought she had a very quiet year; many might doubt the veracity of the randomizer that gave us so many quaint matchups between co-stars, but it’s legit. Still others might be in a coma because they watched The Cutting Edge IV: Fire and Ice on ABC Family last night, and haven’t recovered from the fact that a dude who was on a WB show TEN YEARS AGO is romancing a girl who is on The Secret Life of the American Teenager right NOW.

But Fug Madness isn’t about who’s not in; it’s about who is, and we’re pretty excited to see how this field plays its way toward the final.
You can click on and print the above JPEG, or if you prefer, here is a downloadable PDF of the bracket: Fug_Madness_bracket_2010.pdf
Here are some other pertinent details:
– The play-in game is Tuesday, March 16. As in, tomorrow. Woo!
– Round One starts Thursday, March 18 —  known to some as St. Hangover’s Day — and continues Friday, in step with March Madness; Round Two begins Monday, March 22, and continues Tuesday; the Sweet Sixteen is next Thursday and Friday, and so on and so forth until the final on Monday, April 5.
– The voting is NOT NOT NOT based only on the outfits we show in the Fug Madness matchup posts; those are just examples. Rather, it’s based on everything and anything what people wore within the eligibility period of March 1, 2009, through March 12, 2010 (essentially, excluding the 2009 Oscar dresses but including the ones that people just wore). You can use the site’s archives, or the Internet, or whatever site you choose, to noodle around the person’s fashion missteps.
– Polls are open for approximately 24 hours after they’re published (or as close as we can get it). You may vote as many times as your browser or cookie-clearing finger allows.
– Per usual, comments will be open on the Fug Madness posts. The sassy, smart, funny input of our cool readers is what makes this contest so much fun. But please obey the usual rules, all of which are totally based on common sense, but which I’ll reiterate in short just for the hell of it: Debate is encouraged, disagreements are welcome, but arguments are not necessary. Don’t use this as an excuse to rant about how much you hate a celebrity, or a commenter (that’s what private diaries are for), and if you can’t go to bed without telling us how much you hate us and Fug Madness and everything for which we stand, please do fire off an e-mail. We reserve the right to delete any comments that are inappropriate and are ruining it for everyone else.
BUT, we are not worried, because you guys have proven time and again — during Fug Madness, and on Unfug It Up/Fug or Fab/Freaky Fug Friday posts — that you are fantastic.
I suppose you might be curious as to which two celebs will flesh out the play-in game. Time to pull back the curtain:

It’s a showdown of Simpsons — a Simpdown, if you will. Weigh in on Ashlee vs. Jessica tomorrow, and then our field of 64 will be complete.
