Her hair and face are gorgeous. I lust for hair so shiny.
I really liked the last red dress she wore (though I never saw side angle views of it). This one, I’m not feeling. Something about it feels cheap. The leather parts, for sure, and probably the overall sheen of the fabric is reading cheap. And here’s where things get delicate–this is not great from side angles (it’s not so obvious in these photos, but I’ve seen others). She’s a beautiful woman, but this isn’t for her at this point in time.
SHE looks incredible. The dress on the other hand is pretty meh. I get the no public PDA stuff as well, my husband and I have no interest (and assume most other folks agree) in sharing our love with the entire world. It is slightly weird that they never normally appear in public together though.
This feels like something a rich-ish lady would wear to a formal Christmas Party. I dont think that’s a good thing.
How weird is it Ben and Jen are actually in the same place at the same time?! These two always seem sorta mythical to me. You hear about them and there’s some proof they, as a couple, exist (hello Violet, my fav celeb child) and yet you never see them! This must be what it feels like to see Sasquatch.
I wish the red was more muted and her make up makes her look washed out. I think the fit and cut is nice though.
And maybe she and Ben just aren’t into gratuitous PDA in front of paparazzi? I don’t care for PDA with my significant other without the chance of photos being blasted around the world. It doesn’t mean that our relationship isn’t loving or genuine.
I think the problem is that the fit is off. Needs some spanx and then the dress needs to be brought in.
That’s my thought as well. The fit in the bodice is not good, nor the waist. With better tailoring, the dress might well be a knockout. I also agree that a brighter lip would complete the package.
She looks like such a lovely, glowing human being I don’t really care about the dress.
Orange Clouds, she’s one of the very, very few people who I feel that way about. She seems like such a genuine, kind-hearted person who really just loves her kids, her family, and also just happens to love acting. I adore her, and I love that she calls her home state “West by God Virginia.” As a Virginian, we normally hate on W.Va, but she gets a pass
She DOES seem like a legit incredibly kind, sweet, thoughtful person. Which is why I want the best for her, fashion-wise (and she is so fundamentally gorgeous, she could really knock it out of the park).
I saw her on Conan the other night and she seemed so sweet and excited to be there. Honestly, she seems like she probably spends A LOT of time hanging out with the under-five set; which was kind of endearing.
I have never thought of her having prominent lips, so apparently the non-lipstick strategy is working brilliantly. That said, a little lip color would have been nice, maybe a deep red so it didn’t clash with the dress? I think she looks fab.

She DOESN’T have prominent lips, quite the opposite. I still remember watching half way through season 2 or 3 of Alias when all of a sudden she showed up with Big Prominent Lips and she just couldn’t handle them, I couldn’t stop giggling. I wish she’d stop doing whatever it is she is doing to her lips. She’s so beautiful, she doesn’t need it!
Well, they do need to be together sometime – she is now babymomma of his 3 children? She looks amazing, but I don’t love that dress. Affleck doesn’t look horrible – that ‘hair’ cut suits him (is it plugs? weave? whatever it is, it’s working in this setting).
This may be a cultural thing and I don’t mean to ignite a firestorm, but where I’m from, ‘baby mama’ or ‘baby daddy’ is indicative of a situation where the parents are no longer or never were married and have parted company. Also, the phrase ’3 of his children’ suggests that there are others out there. The Garflecks and their sprouts are a traditional nuclear family.
This is not to pass comment, much less judgement, on people whose families are constructed in a different manner. It’s the inaccuracy that I don’t like.

She’s had three kids, one recently, and appears to spend a lot of time with them doing the stay at home mom thing. A lot of celebs in her position have help and maybe she does too but I still give her two thumbs up from me for getting out and pouring herself into a sexy red dress and looking good doing it. Her hair and makeup are lovely. It’s all good for Jennifer.
The dress kind of looks like a really fancy nightgown, but she looks so pretty and happy that I am willing to give her a pass.

But I’ve heard so many stories about her and Ben – they’re on the rocks, now they’re not, uh-oh it’s trouble again – that I see these pictures of them together and I think it’s all just pretend. Also, he kisses with his eyes open? WEIRD.
He used to do that w. J Lo, too. It always comes off as, “I love you honey but who else is at this party for me to talk to?!!”
And I say that as someone who actually really likes Bffleck.

I am distracted by the fact that they’re at the premiere for Argo, which the bf and I have been majorly geeking out about seeing. SO EXCITED HOLY SHIT.
I like the idea of the dress… but I’m not sold on the execution. I think it’s the fit. It’s a little… iffy. Like it should be more fitted but it’s loose and so not as flattering as it could be.
I give her thumbs up for getting out of the house with washed hair, makeup and no stains on her dress. Since she’s a mother of three, one still a baby, that’s very impressive. (Yes, she may have help, at the very least she had a babysitter for whatever event they went to, but she appears to be a very hands on mom.)
I look at all the seams and all the pieces and wonder, how can I think this is not well constructed? Look at all those seams! But it does, and I do, and it’s too bad. It’s not fitted well to her body.
And, I realize it’s public touching, but it’s pretty platonic public touching.

What is with the face she is making in slide 2? I don’t like the dress on her it’s not her worst but I don’t think it flatters her at all. The kiss looks like kissing an uncle you can’t stand. But hey at least there is some contact.
Could those curve sections be leather? If so, it somehow makes it much better for me.
I thought that, but in close-up they looked more satiny to me.

I thought her feature was her cheeks, I’d actually never noticed her lips too much… But she is really gorgeous and could pull off any look really, but this dress is kind of wonky, there’s something that’s not quite right, it’s the cirlces I think.
I’d like to see her in a red lip once in a while.

I think leather and satin crepe dont look right together (leather too heavy for the satin), the red is not the right red for her. but she looks lovely an happy despite the dress!
I LOATHE all dresses that have clunky, wide straps like that. They make the woman look burly and linebacker-y.
I used to think Garfleck adopted the Paltrow/Martin (Paltrin? Martow?) way of dealing with publicity, you know, how Chris Martin would rather throw himself in front of a bus than be photographed with his wife. Maybe J. Gar is too exhausted for that and came to her senses.
Gorgeous stunning colour on her and she glows with health too – I can live with the dress for these reasons.

Something is not right with that kiss. Only brown people kiss like that in public (I am brown). There is no chemistry…I believe their marriage could be headed for troubleville!

The second photo makes her lips look horridly inflated and her hair almost unclean. It’s a bad photo, as the other show. I’m not sure about the bodice fit or the armpit circles.
She looks fabulous! I know it can be quite the accomplishment to leave the house when you have 3 kids, one of whom is less than a year old. As for the second pic, the photographer must have worked really hard to find such an unattractive moment.
She looks so pretty I feel like I’m carping to mention that a redder lip would be nice from time to time.
