Boring Emma boringly lets Ann give her side of the story, which Ann somehow does boringly and unconvincingly. Harris told Emma that Ann didn't want her, and instead of saying, "I had post-partum depression," Ann boringly says, "Yes," and then blahs about struggling and says nothing terribly convincing and so Emma boringly dismisses Ann's boring side of the story and even boringly shoves aside the boring memento box. BORING. (I like actually like this plot, but this scene was underwhelming, and part of it is that Emma only used one facial expression.)
