At the hospital, Andrea is all weak and tragic, and Juliet is suspicious that she faked it for attention, and Ioan is gruffly ffudd about it all. But then Juliet overhears Ioan talking to the hospital therapist, and learns 1) Andrea vtried this once before, but as a ploy; 2) this time it seems real because the cuts were deep; and 3) Andrea needs to be committed or at least closely nursed, if for no other reason than how insane she's going to be when she realizes her hospital gown is not fur-trimmed, nor animal printed, nor stitched together from the very fabric of human conspiracy.
