Carrie wears girly pink nightgowns to sleep -- okay, it IS relevant to flash forward sometimes, and the time Adult Carrie slept in men's Jockeys (or at least cavorted around her apartment in them) just came to mind -- and Dorrit is a rebel so she wears eyeliner. However, to be totally period-accurate, those jeans wouldn't have been that long. I don't remember ANYONE in the '80s selling jeans that long. They'd have either had a zipper up the side, been pegged, or -- and here is the key -- been stirrup pants.
