She has the figure to pull this off, but two things could have improved this look:
a) Dark pretty hair down, for contrast, OR,
b) A dramatic necklace with matching earrings, so she doesn’t look quite so…gessoed.
Not crazy about the shoes, and MAN is she pale on those shins. BUT, huge improvement for Ashley. She is so darling and has found some success, but soooooo needs a new stylist.

The length is off, either longer or above the knee, and a different color so it’s less Bed, Bath and Beyond.
I don’t mind the bare neck. You notice the dress and her gorgeous skin better that way.
But other than that, I love it.
Give the dress some color so that it doesn’t look so much like a bath wrap.
The shoes and bag are a very meh shade. Color them up a bit.
A sparkly bracelet would be nice.
Make the lipstick a true red and fluff her hair a bit and you have a fab, not a meh look.

OK, usually I’d be the first to say, Let’s have some color!!! But I have to admit that the white dress/neutral accessories thing is kinda intriguing me. It’s a certain look, and it’s elegant, and she’s prosecuting it respectably.
Now, if I only knew who either of them is….
I don’t like it, but neither do I hate it. It would certainly look better with some tastefully bold accessories, and while this is not a color I would choose myself (that’s when red wine finds me), at least it doesn’t look bridal. Sometimes, neutrals do work.
The only issue I have is that while it’s not a bridal looking cream/white, it does look like the bride’s table.

she’s glad, i suppose, that she took the pointy clips out before she hung it, anyway.
The length of the dress is *terrible*. And I am not down with that lip color–a bit too 1987 for me.

I actually hate those shoes–they’re making her toes look like vaginas.
I like the pleats, I think if we could keep the pleats but give it a bit more shape it could work. I just fear it becoming a boring white tube dress if too much is changed.
The shoes are driving me nuts, I want her scary little vagina feet to stop staring at me. Nude shoes in general come off as very boring to me. I want to close them up, give them some color, and maybe lose the platform.
All that being said, I like her face and her clutch looks interesting.
If the dress fit her perfectly this look would have rocked. Instead it looks like a dress was made for her taller, flatter chested sister and LeGreene stole it out of the closet at the last minute.

I like the pleats at the top, but below the boob line the whole thing just goes all baggy and shapeless. Problem is, I’m not sure how you’d fix that without losing the pleats. Maybe she should cut her losses, cut that dress off at the waist, and put some nice classy pants underneath it. I think that would probably fix it.
I really like the lipstick, especially with white. And the clutch. And her face is so beautiful. And the shoes? I have to say I just don’t see the vagina thing, and I can usually find an inuendo anywhere. Really, the only thing that’s a problem here for me is the bottom half of her dress.
Those shoes are horrible!
Dinsdale’s comment about Jude’s cane going through her head made me laugh, and I agree with Mongrel that she should have worn her hair down for contrast.
Ashley is so beautiful though, and I think the simplicity of this dress shows that off, but some contrast and perhaps colour wouldn’t have gone amiss.
If that’s the girl from New Moon, I don’t think she’s has a team of stylists like Taylor yet, so kudos to her for looking nice while on a budget.

Am I the only one who thinks that these platform heels that are all the rage really just evoke a drag queen?
Not only are the shoes terrible, but she didn’t even bother to get a pedicure. (No nail polish or she went with nude/clear, which is a bad choice there!) I guess if she went for something like red, it would have given the whole vagina thing a push, but still why wear peep-toes if you can’t see anything interesting in the nail polish area. Also, when you look carefully, you’ll see that the shoes don’t fit well – mushed up around the toes.
Truthfully the only thing that this dress needs is a few more feet. When i first saw it i thought it was an elegant floor length dress, and it would have the added bonus of covering the shoes. Otherwise, i think she looks great here. Jessica however seems to be developing a tanning addiction which i must admit makes her look like a sequin clad OmpaLompa.
Ashley Greene looks a hell of a lot like Marisa Tomei… now if only she could take some style tips from her (Marisa’s Oscar dress=fab).
That fullness in front needs a belt – unless it is meant as a maternity dress. Could be worse – she could be filling it out.
I think the fit is the main problem here…maybe a belt would help. Also, I am not sure I like the neutral accessories with a white dress. Up close, the dress actually has an interesting texture– if a little too much like the drapes at my grandmother’s condo in Forida– but it’s just so shapeless without a defined waist.

Good post however you should really get rid of all this spammers!
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
