Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are possibly my favorite celebrity couple right now. There is something about them that makes me want to invite them over for tacos and college basketball. Also: Angela Bassett, you guys. She looks….well, you’ll find out.

OMG!…Angela Bassett looks amazing. She still has the same body/face that she did in What’s Love Got to Do With It? Here’s to seeing her in more movies than she has been making recently. Love her.
Angela looks great and the entire ensemble still manages to convey that she’s a professional attending an industry event–how refreshing. Perhaps Halle Berry could find a stylist who knows how to meet this challenge…
Ugh, I have totally gotten drunk and watched The Office with my boyfriend and said “You know what? I want us to get together with John Krasinski and Emily Blunt– I think they would be a blast and you KNOW they’d love us!”
… it was totally unprompted and he asked if I was a lunatic, but my idea still stands.
I’m sorry to say this, but I think Angela’s magic elixir is botox. She looks weirdly tight there. Her bod, however, is indeed fantastic.
Whoever took these pictures was clearly on a ladder because even Affleck looks short and the rest of them look like they’re standing in a hole.

I agree about the botox on Angela’s face. It just doesn’t look right but her body is righteous… those arms! She is still lovely. So are the blunt kajinkis- she always looks chic but the Queen of Chic now is Anne H. Why didn’t Jessica Chastain stick with the cigarette pants? Those were epitome of chic. No one else here requires a second glance. What happened to 007? Are he and Rachel trying to tamp down the good looks to save our feelings? And Ben ought to look a bit happier; maybe not as happy as when he is chasing his adorable girls.

Two things — is Affleck an ambi-turner? And yay, it looks like Hanging with Bradley Cooper’s head suit finally had a rendezvous with a bottle of shampoo.
Maybe it’s just the drab dress colour that’s ruining the look, but I think Emily Blunt needs to reconsider that hair colour. She’d look better in a chestnut or something a bit darker. I once had a hair-dresser describe my colour as “dishwater brown” and I sort of feel as if that’s what Emily’s got going on here.
I kind of love Amanda Seyfried’s look, and I think it is because she is not wearing black on a black carpet, and therefore I can SEE IT.
Famek Janssen is almost unrecognizable in that photo (maybe the eye makeup?), but she looks great. She’s 48!

Okay, Famke is completely unrecognizable and because of all the hair in her face, I can’t tell whether it’s because she’s had work done or if it’s just age – but maybe she could start by taking the hair out of her face and when she can see again, she’ll notice she has to change her dress. :/

OH, and also – I think Anne looks awesome although it is indeed, cracktacular.
I agree with you about Anne’s get-up – it works for her, especially with the short hair. The long hair would have looked more costume-y but the short has a sassy Victor/Victoria thing going on.
I agree, she looks the best I’ve seen her looking in a long time. The skinny trousers and short hair make her look young and cute.
Emily Blunt can be permitted the odd transgression, because she normally looks fab, but I hope she burns that frock when she gets home.
So, two things:
I love Daniel Craig, but he looks like hired muscle here. His pose is so awkward, and his haircut is just unflattering. Give me Bond any day.
Also, Ben Affleck. Has he just gotten better with age? Every time I see him, I have that eyes-popping-out-of-my-head “aoooooooga!” reaction.
When I saw the picture of Daniel Craig I thought he should be saying,”no trainers tonight, lads” in the manner of the bouncer he resembles in this picture.
Don’t hurt me for this, but I’d kind of like to see Amanda Seyfried’s dress on Christina Hendricks. With the bodice fitted properly to her, of course.

I don’t think Amanda Seyfried’s dress would be flattering on ANYONE; I imagine the ribbon things create the illusion of droop if you have any chest at all. Daniel Craig is suffering a terrible haircut; with the shadow, it makes him look almost pinheaded. Not a good look.
I adore the description of Famke’s look; it is very Death Eater Casual, a category I didn’t know existed (I imagine this is what Bellatrix wears on Fridays). Ann Hathaway, despite wearing black on black on black, looks fantastic. Like Voldemort’s sassy, sexy, irrepressible but hyper-efficient personal secretary. Without her, Voldemort would never know who he was supposed to kill today, or remember where the hell he hid all those Horcruxes. (Bellatrix hates her, but has to kiss up or she doesn’t get any access to the Dark Lord at all.)

The shoes don’t work with Ann Hathaway’s outfit – too bare, IMO.
I think that the bareness of the shoes is why they are perfect with her outfit!
I actually liked Emily’s dress, but I agree that her her needs to be darker. So gorgeous though! Anne’s hair makes me angry, it’s so damn cute. Grrr. And Angela definitely needs to lay off the botox. Beautiful lady but the sides of her mouth are just weird.
Anne Hathaway looks like the character Richmond on The IT Crowd in that outfit.

I’m pretty sure Angela is lifting heavy weights. I’ve recently started weight training and you can’t get definition in your arms like Angela unless you’re lifting a significant amount of weight – and then you need to eat so that you’re getting enough protein to feed the muscles but few enough calories so that you can show them off.
Women are usually told to lift something like five or ten pounds but if you can do more than 12 reps at that weight, you’re doing cardio not strength training. Real strength training has so many benefits that cardio alone doesn’t have.
Amanda Seyfreid’s dress reminds me of a circus tent or one of those parachute thingies that teachers use in classrooms or in sport lessons. I doubt even the remarkable Diane Kruger could pull this one off – but she was the celebrity I thought of first when I saw this chute dress…
This new ‘chic’ below the knee length is tricky and seems to turn dowdy without the correct management.

OK…I think I have officially reached my Jessica Chastain saturation point. Aside from her many appearances on GFY, girl is literally everywhere. She seems perfectly lovely, but she’s almost as ubiquitous as the Kardashians (though infinitely more talented, obvs).
I LOVE what Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway & Amanda Seyfried are wearing! COVET! My girl-crushes on them know no boundaries! Also have a girl-crush on Jessica Chastain and I love her hair, makeup & jewelry, but the dress & shoes are blah! Angela Bassett is FIERCE! John Krasinski is YUMMY! And, Ben Affleck is working it like he’s on the catwalk… I approve!
Annnnndd Hathaway’s transformation into Liza Minnelli is now complete! All she needs is the bowler and JAZZ HANDS.

I wish Ann Hathaway’s slacks were without the stripe. For some reason THAT is what makes it too much. I think the rest of it can be seen as quirky and fun. OR, if she loves the stripe, get rid of the bow…..
