Okay, so I think the bones of a nice dress are here. But it's that COLOR. Maybe it's just the way the light catches it and then reflects off of what I believe is velvet fabric, but doesn't it overwhelm her? And you? Don't you want to wear your sunglasses at night? That and the makeup combine to make her look rather peaked, no? Jaundiced? I mean, Jaime King is ridiculously pretty normally. This hue is to her what the Kardashian's were to Kris Humphries: entirely unhelpful to her image, and probably kind of embarrassing to talk about at work.
