I’m sure there is some joke in here about how looking good is the best Revenge, and…
Actually, okay. I think that was the joke in there and I just accidentally made it. Carry on! You look great, Victoria Grayson. Don’t frame me for any terrorism at the afterparty.

I was just moved to appreciative profanity. This woman is fifty-three years old?! Whoa. Like, whoa.
SHE looks great. The dress looks awful.
She looks great. As for the dress: love the color, hate the fabric.
Not crazy about the little flaps at the hips, but overall, this is great. And props to her for wearing a unique color.
When Dustin Hoffman was announcing her category, did I hear it wrong or did he say something about Madeline Stowe being of his generation? Because if he did: You wish, Dustin. Just because a woman is over 35 doesn’t make her your generation, old guy.
I was wondering the same thing. Checked out dates, and he’s 21 years older than she is. That’s not the same generation, DH!
As for her dress, I like it, but the color makes me think of purple vinyl laboratory gloves.
It was so nice seeing her and Penelope Ann Miller at the Golden Globes. ’80s and ’90s actor comebacks!
Yeah, I wanted to know what DustinH meant by that remark, too. I would have been offended if I were MadStowe. She and Jodie Foster (who will turn 50 in Nov 2012) both look incredible, for their age or any other, and are great role models.
Is Lea Michelle her long-lost daughter?
Stowe-10, dress-3
She is absolutely stunning. Her dress, alas, is not.
she looks amazing at at that age! the colour of the dress is great with her complexion but the dress is pretty bad…
Is this what 53 is supposed to look like these days? I call shenanigans.
As for the dress…. Well I love that shade of purple.
WHAT?! Well Played?! Mate, she’s a hottie but this dress is disgusting. Tacky fabric, weirdly lumpy spangly train and hideous hip flaps. Nope.
53 is not old, not anywhere near old, never met old, never went to the same mall as old, is all, “Old? What is this old of which you speak?”
Too bad Mad can’t say the same about herself and that dress.
So I saw this picture and I thought, “Madeleine Stowe. She was in Three Jakes, and was hardly a teenager at the time. How can she look this good? How old is she?”So I looked her up, as I’m sure others must have (MS is hardly so big a star that you’d have her age on the tip of your tongue>). DOB 1958? Thoroughly amazing. So maybe she’s not a big star: looking great really is the best revenge.
Like the bottom of the dress; the top half looks like an overly padded corset.
For someone who we rarely see in the Red Carpet, I think she did a great job here! But, the woman is BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL anyway!
Dress = like.
Face = is that a mask? Everytime GG cameras showed her at the dinner it was like her face was frozen. What did she do to it??
No question she’s had work. Actually, I think she’s had quite a bit of work over the years.
But very good work!
She’s 53???? She has been blogging for People.com on her work in Haiti with our family friend Fr. Rick. I never in a hundred years would have said she was in her 50s! From the pictures she’s posted, she looks my age (37ish)!
Nice enough color, too much skirt, death to peplum! and the bodice is trying to Lift and Separate far too hard.
I know you girls are more about critiquing the clothes, but I can’t get over how botoxed Madeleine Stowe is. She is such a stunningly beautiful woman who I refuse to believe wasn’t aging well. The smoothness of her forehead is unnerving. *Runs to watch the hotness of Stowe and Day-Lewis in Last of the Mohicans.*
Holy crap. She looks great!
She looks radiant but the dress is really, really ugly.
