Dafugne Guinness

Daphne Guinness is kind of a sartorial kook by trade, but that doesn’t mean she can’t still knock open my jaw. I first saw this outfit because someone on Twitter pointed me to a German article in which it was featured, and although I don’t speak a lick of that language, I understood the headline: “Fashionvictimitis.”

This is totally Lady Gaga plus Annie Lennox plus Elvira with a touch of Nefertiti and a splash of Anna Wintour — just a splash — multiplied by a head injury and then divided by a vat of absinthe. Although in fairness to Daphne, she’s been a nutter practically since Gaga was just a glint in the milkman’s eye, but still, the facts are these: Vampires DO walk this earth, and also, she is going to break her ankle.
