Look how lovely My Girl grew up to be:
I imagine that Natasha Bedingfield is hissing something like, “Psst, you’re supposed to look FIERCE,” and Anna Chlumsky is like, “But I’m at Fashion Week! It’s exciting! Screw all you people and your poker faces!” It IS exciting, as was Andy Murray’s US Open tennis match yesterday, which we heard her discussing at Christian Siriano.
Over at Rebecca Taylor, Katharine McPhee was refusing interviews with everyone except Women’s Wear Daily. A pink-lipsticked Padma Lakshmi got accosted by some weirdos who wanted her to pose with their stuffed devil at Monique Lhuillier; Rose Byrne wore a terrible dress to Jill Stuart and wasn’t even the only person in the room who made that particular mistake; and we talked to another Olympian, this time sprinter Sanya Richards-Ross at Herve Leger, who was as friendly and easy-going as can be.
Oh: and there was Kris Humphries. Really.

Anna Chlumsky has the right attitude! I would also be excited to be at Fashion Week! Smile all you want, girl!
Anna Chlumsky is awesome on Veep. Nice to see her in something other than the DC Power Suit costume they have her wear
I love her on Veep. Well, I love everyone on Veep, but her in particular because nothing pleases me more than beloved child actors growing up and getting all sweary. And if I got a front-row seat at Fashion Week, I’d be smiling huge too.
Me too! Love Veep! Anna’s character is fantastic
And I would be grinning from ear to ear if I was at FWNY in the front row!
She was adorable as the side-kick in 12 Men of Christmas. So glad she’s back onscreen, big or small. And she’s looking fierce and like she’s having a good time, all at once. Attagirl.
Interesting. Humphries is wearing essentially the same outfit he had on at the MN State Fair where we spotted him in a beer and cheese curd tent last week. A man of seriously diverse interests, I guess.
She’s charming! I don’t watch the show she’s on, so I had no idea she’d grown up to be so beautiful. How very nice. And absolutely, I’d be excited and having fun, too!
Love the simple sweater-dress and its color, the relaxed, pretty hair, and time-and-place-appropriate light makeup. She looks terrific!
And she was great in ‘In the Loop’, too. The colour’s nice on her and the simple accessories set it off.
But how is Natasha Beddingfield still a thing? Didn’t she have that one song ages ago? Have I missed something?
I love that Sanya Richards-Ross is such a fierce athlete AND a fashionista at heart. All you young’uns out there, take note: Women can be both tough and feminine. Also, please have Henrik Lundqvist wrapped and delivered to my door IMMEDIATELY. C.O.D is fine.
Going through your other slideshows… Bless you for the picture of Henrik Lundqvist! I fully expect a FugGirls overview of hockey players at fashion week. Sean Avery will show up somewhere no doubt.
They do look very nice!
