I glanced at this post and first thought it said “Chloe Sevigny” and practically clapped and giggled at how polished and clean she looked. Then I realized it was not Chloe at all, but someone else who has a funky style, but pulls it off sooooo much better. And Sunrise really does. I’m not wild about any of the dresses in the slideshow, but she looks great in them.
I love this woman! Confidence and edge without being obscene. And the arm-candy.. oh my!!!!
When I first saw her on the carpet, I thought, “OMG PATRICIA ARQUETTE WHY ARE YOU WASTING AWAY?”
I was also (though less so) alarmed that she seemed to be so friendly with Mr. Ruffalo.
I was actually a little sad with the sleeve. Because as a one shoulder dress she would have ruled the red carpet, I think. As it was, everyone just kept making Dynasty references.
Girlfriend starts out with a huge advantage by having Mr. Ruffalo as her best accessory. But even apart from that, I think she’s quite fabulous. Her fashion choices are edgy, but she makes them work.
I seriously love this woman, she gives some serious face on the red carpet. More of her please.
What is with that weird-ass pose that makes her look like somebody who didn’t have her scoliosis treated in middle-school? Yuck!
I am well aware that my judgment is clouded by the fact I believe Mark Ruffalo should be MY husband, but … I NEVER like ANYTHING she wears. That BAFTA dress comes close, tho.
I am so on board with the FACE and CONFIDENCE. She’s so sure of herself! And I think she’s doing edgy in the interest of fashion and art, not in the interest of LOOK AT ME I’M OVER HERE. Bonus points for the severe bob. I dig.
I’ve been giving fab votes to pretty much anything that showed up on the red carpet at the Oscars that wasn’t beige, nude, or sparkly, or all of the above. So as CRAY CRAY as these looks may be, at least she didn’t show up in a cream coloured SNORE.
I really like the detail of the gold filaments on the Oscar dress, and she has a good attitude for pulling off Sleeves-with-a-capital-S, so I’m giving her a thumbs-up.

She is totally cray-cray, but I kind of love her. She’s gorgeous, and she totally owns her look, so I will cosign it. And we all have to admit she’s not going out of her way to look terrible, like HBC sometimes does (though I love her, too).
This is the FIRST time that one of these cracked out SLEEVE things has actually drawn my approval! It has nothing to do with the party of the other part who lives with her……..sure it doesn’t.
Not crazy about the BAFTA look, but whatevs.

The fact that she’s married to Mark Ruffalo lets me know that she is a cool chick and her bold, fearless style is what makes the Red Carpet fun! So, I’d toast to her wackiness if I had a drink in my hand and say “You go, girl”!

Did anyone notice that in the BAFTA photo, Mark Ruffalo is almost as tan as George Hamilton?
She is one of the more fun celebrity wives. I think she needs to hang out with Rita Wilson and Steve Carrell’s wife and shoot the breeze. No sign of Botox either. And …age appropriate for Ruffalo. Ruffalo. Such a cool name.
