Oh dear! A theme seems to be developing
Yay! I can see it now
I WANT to react. I’ve seen these photos separately and LOVE everything… (So I guess that’s my reaction.)
The point is the gallery isn’t showing up in the post.
this is so weird, because the thumbnails are showing up in my google reader but nothing’s here. i don’t understand computers.
Ha, and again I’ll post the link from my reader for you lovely ladies

Fuggirls, what’s going on with the site?!
And on to the clothes . . . I love everything she’s wearing, HATE the styling of the last one. Take that headband off, flatten the bouffant into a sleek ponytail, perfect! Mostly I LOVE that she is adventurous in her choices. Not everyone s going to love it, but you can tell she does
I actually like the 2nd gown better because it looks more balanced & the colours suit her better. The first one looks very bottom heavy with that nothing bodice & bare shoulders up top. Might have worked better if her hair were down.
The third one would have been cute if it had been one of the mini dresses from that collection, but that length is terrible and would be on pretty much anyone. And yeah, ditch the bow.
Agreed, the second dress is awesome (boat prow/forecastle/poop deck notwithstanding) and I wish it lived in my wardrobe.
Me too, though since I’m a fair skinned lass of Irish descent, the colors would look horrible on me. On her, they are amazeballs. And the cut of the top reminds me of an outfit I had when I was 9 in the mid 80s and I mean that in a very complimentary way.
I love the second dress. The cut reminds me a lot of the crop top look we’ve been seeing way too much. So they mere fact that there is no midriff gets extra points from me.
Is the recent problem with pictures not showing up related to the approaching debt ceiling issue?
My parents have a cushy chair and ottoman with the exact fabric of the third dress in the family room of their house. That’s all I see when I look at the third dress: upholstery. In other pics I’ve seen online, the dress isn’t very flattering, either, which is quite a feat, given how stunning this woman is.
On a more positive note: HOORAY FOR PATTERNS! I would like a caftan in the second fabric. I would wear it and a floppy hat in a lounge chair on the beach whilst drinking mai tais, and it would be wonderful.
I love the print of the first but I wish it didnt have the bra cup type top.
The second is ok, I like the pattern and I hate the third. In fact, my biggest complaint about the third isnt the dress or the stupid bow but the fact that shoes are blinding white while the dress is creamer.
Agree that the first dress is spoiled by Madonna gladiator cups … no unnecessary … second would have been fab without the protective sheet over the (unseen) Madonna gladiator cups. Third … nothing can save.
I would love the last dress if it were cut differently. And also, if she burned the bow. Blair WOULD say no to the bow.
I adore the first dress. I too love a great pattern on a gown. I’m not sure I love the hair. It’s dangerously close to putting her hair up to go to the gym. But there IS structure, so, maybe it’s just me.
My thoughts on the second dress. Remember in our youth (or at least my youth), when the obnoxious boys and girls made those paper poppers? The top of this dress looks like a popped popper. In other words, I can’t support it.
This woman is stunning. I hope she abstains from covering her face with bangs from now on. Also, is it wrong that I hold Kerry to Olivia’s fashion standards now? I know Olivia Pope isn’t real (most of the time), but her entire wardrobe, I lust after it.
I love the first two! She is so gorgeous, and I love that she’s choosing such interesting gowns.
I agree that the third is too twee, and I don’t think it helps that she’s standing like a shy little schoolgirl. But I kind of, sort of, like it anyway.
I feel pretty meh about the first two and want to burn the third one – although I love her glowing skin and lovely hair. That said, I do like the pattern of the second one – a lot!
I think she could pull off the third dress IF… #1 FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO WHITE SHOES UGHHHHH. #2, make it knee length or higher. #3, Lose the god forsaken hairbow. And this is coming from someone who loves them. There’s a time and a place, Kerry.
I love it when you post after me. It makes me giggle.
Hahah, me too! And it wasn’t even on purpose!
Kit Kat! Ha!!!!!!!!
I love the colors on the second one. The first one is a sartorial interpretation of The Hills Have Eyes. She deserves better.
I secretly kind of like the last dress! i wish it were a mini-dress, but if it were, I would love it. bow and all. sorry fug nation!
I completely agree!
I also concur. The last dress would be great too if it was short and fit a little tighter, and had a more mod hair style to accompany it.
And she wasn’t standing pigeon-toed like a 3-year old.
Each of these catch your eye in their own way — how the pleats add to the flow of the first; the angles and color of the second, and the chic/retro/sheen of the third.
I kind of want to chop off the last 2 rows of checkerboard on the last dress, I think it’d make the dress look a little sexier and de-twee the bow.
Every single time Kerry Washington is featured on GFY, I start singing, “My name is Kerry. I’m so very fly, oh, my! It’s a little bit scary.” If I didn’t know better, I’d think “Pretty Girl Rock” was written for Kerry Washington instead of Keri Hilson.
I think the third dress belongs on a lady of a certain age. Helen Mirren or the Queen, for instance.
I LOVE the first dress! Is it Christian Siriano? Anyone know for sure?
I want to love the 2nd.
Kind of hate the 3rd…but she is so pretty it’s working more than it should be.
The third one is Louis Vitton, not Marc Jacobs!
*vuitton
Marc Jacobs is Louis Vuitton’s creative director.
The second dress is amazing – those colors were made for her. I think the third is styled too young with the twee bow, but the dress itself is a little mature for her.
Bravo for wearing patterns, Kerry! LOVE the 1st & 2nd dresses and she’s styled beautifully! FAB!!!
Maybe I’m too much of a KW fan, but I love all three looks. The second gown particular: Awesome! Gorgeous colors and pattern, and the cut of it works on her though it might not on someone without her figure. Even the third look is cool, even with the hairbow. The hairbow is a risky choice and would look dumb on the majority of the femaie population, but it works on her and with that dress. I’m in the tank.
All I can think of whenever I can see her is how RIDICULOUSLY GOOD LOOKING she is.
