And hat’s off for that autocorrect.
I kind of wish Helen had done something else with her hair–maybe it’s too long? And I love both fabrics, but the dresses kind of make them look tubular.
Helen’s was my favorite for the night.

Helen Hunt’s neck is about seven miles long, which is why she can get away with a choker. I know this because my neck is about one-seventh of a mile long, which is why I can’t.
I thought Helen looked smashing but I was like yawwwwn when I saw JG’s. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen her wear this dress a bazillion times before. I realize that Ben is supposed to be the center of attention this awards season, but srsly.
I love Helen Hunt’s dress! My sister and I used to day dream that we would go to the Oscars in gold and silver dresses. Thanks Jen and Helen for showing me what the dress up fantasy would have looked like!
Jennifer always looks lovely- the gold makes her look lusher than usual. Helen Hunt is the 3rd best dressed, after Marion and the girl from Modern Family in the smashing purple dress. Marion has the French chic and knows how to wear a dress. Helen is also wearing the dress which is gorgeous on her. Bravo and I hope she is back for good.
I want that bracelet too.

I loved the idea of Jen’s look, but I found it to be VPL-city. I feel like her handlers would have made sure she was wearing proper undergarmentage, but I’m still seeing a distracting amount of what looks like bikini undies underneath.

I liked the soft hair with the metallic sheath dresses, especially for the SAGs. Jennifer looked very good, and Helen looks absolutely fantastic. She was one of my best-dressed of the night, and I think it might be her personal best ever.
Jennifer Garner is such a gorgeous woman but am I the only one who thinks this dress does her no favors? I see the illusion of a belly which we all know isn’t there…must be the way the fabric is laying over her undergarments or something.
Nope, you’re not the only one. I don’t care for Jennifer’s dress at all. It looks like she just laid down and rolled in fabric, then they sewed her into it. Don’t like the hair, either.
Helen Hunt, on the other hand, looks like a knockout.
WOW, WOW, WOW, They both look GORGEOUS!!!! I adore both Jennifer and Helen and think they are both pretty good actresses, but as far as actresses go, I like Helen the most.
I’m not a Helen Hunt fan, but I loved it when she showed off the friendship bracelet (nestled among all the bangles on her right arm) that her daughter made for her.
These were my two favorite outfits of the night. But I am a sucker for sparkly. I love them because they are dazzling, but simple at the same time. No awkward cuts, no weird sheer parts, no side/under boob showing. They are simple, and yet so eye-catching. Jennifer Garner has been my favorite so far this award season (maybe my tastes are boring, but her outfits are so to my taste). And I also loved Helen Hunt showing off her daughter’s friendship bracelet. Too bad the terrible coverage on E made it almost impossible to see for a minute. God, E was really terrible.
I really liked both dresses. However, I felt Garner could have benefited from a necklace. Just a small quibble, though!
I loved both of these, but it’s pretty much a given that I’ll love anything that’s simple-yet-sparkly.

Helen Hunt is by far the best dressed of all the women at SAG – elegant and age appropriate, and the dress fits beautifully. And she has an amazing body. Loved her jewellery too.
Helen Hunt looks absolutely fantastical. Btw, when are she and Leelee going to play mother and daughter in a movie? Or self and younger self?
I really like JG’s dress and bracelet, and that wrinking around the hips looks more like a pseudo peplum… on the whole, though, I give it a 90 out of 100.
I love them both in these looks– smashing, star quality, dignified yet hot. I want to give a special love shout- out to Jennifer’s wavy hair. It really softens her look overall and makes her seem more classic Hollywood.
I’d like Jennifer’s hair better in a soft up-do with this dress. It’s much too casual for this look as it is.
They both look cramazing, and I think Garner looks worried because of that bracelet. I think it way more than half a million, given that those clear links are some sort of carved precious stone.

I’m not sure where I saw it, but there’s a great photo from the SAGs of Jennifer Garner laughing with Julianne Moore, and Jennifer looks relaxed and so lovely that I thought to myself, ‘Wow, J-Lo is definitely off somewhere gnashing her teeth!’. I wouldn’t change a thing, other than her worried expression.
Kelly Garner should have worn her strapless at this level. No hoiking necessary.
