Fug File: beige

Every time I see Renee Z, I think of an article in — I think it was — Vogue, around the time Chicago came out, in which CZJ was quoted as saying that RZ spent a LOT of time on the treadmill. Her line, paraphrased, was something like, “I’d go get a magazine, she’d be on the treadmill. I’d run out for a sandwich. Renee would be on the treadmill.” Which made me imagine CZJ slinking past the gym in, like, a caftan, with half of a Pret a Manger sandie hanging out of her mouth and a People magazine in hand, peeking into the gym to see Renee trotting along, and just shaking her glorious head. I thought it was telling and it made me rather sad. Much like this dress:

The slit is very sexy, and I like the boatneck on her, and I can’t help put suspect this is one of those numbers that looks great in person but on camera, to quote the esteemed Miss TyTy Banks is totally all: WAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. It’s the color of sand and just as tasty.

But how’s the back?
