My reaction to this photo was, “IF THIS IS A JUMPSUIT I AM GOING TO FORCE RIHANNA TO GO STAND INSIDE A WHITESNAKE VIDEO AND THINK ABOUT WHAT SHE’S DONE.”

And then:

IT’S NOT PANTS! I am stunned. I mean, it’s NEVER not pants. These days it feels like there is a jumpsuit lurking around every corner. It’s about time one of these jump posts had a happy ending, no?

Now, don’t get me wrong, she could still pass as the test-tube hybrid of Tawny Kitaen and Cheetara. And I can’t decide if a dress that evokes being mauled by a rival Thundercat is a triumphant in-your-face to the tragic actual events of her personal life, or an unfortunate callback to them. I guess whatever helps her get over it… I’m just not sure that making herself catnip to David Coverdale is the answer.
