I hope she brought another pair of shoes to change into after the show. Those things are so tight above the ankles they look like they’ll cause gangrene.
Sigh. I really thought she’d have faded into oblivion by now.Tired of Britney and her craptastic music and very tired of her tragic wardrobe. Furthermore, while she may have found someone to give her a passable weave, her hair still looks dead and overly yellow. Whew! I feel so much better now.
Awww, I have such a soft spot for Britney Spears. She looks good-healthy, yet still vacant in they eyes…but healthy!
Those shoes are horrid. Ouch.
Also, thank you for the “Marc Anthony had a baby with a hobbit” comment, even though my computer screen is now sporting a layer of spewed out Diet Coke.
Sigh .. I just feel so bad for her. She is such a shell of her former self, and always has sad eyes. Somebody give her a remote island and let her live happliy ever after.
I thought she looked cute! It coulda been so much worse.
I still just want to give her a hug. The girl needs some good friends and a life out of the spotlight already. No, not needs, deserves.

Also, I love Britney. I’m so glad she’s better. And Femme Fatale is actually pretty good.
I always want to hug her, too. She needs some decent female friends.
Add me to the list of people who want good things for Britney. I don’t know why, but I like her and want her to have a nice, sane, relativity normal life.
Also I think she looked really cute, even with the weird ruffle shorts.
The whole Gaga thing made me miss Britney even more.
I’ve never really “got” the Britney thing, she was really personable from like age 17-19 but other than that it’s always kinda been confusing how her music outsells far better talents like Christina Augilara. But I am glad that her dad was able to get her the help she so desperately needed and I think she actually does look happy lately and that’s good.
The outfit is kind of a miss though, the shorts are weird, I don’t like that I can see her belly button and her underwear through it either. And that isn’t exactly the most flattering cut on her body, she has a very athletic body, she has never been a waif and that’s good but this just makes her look short.
Ok, the panty shorts and leg chopping boots suck. However, you could see on a good HDTV that her skin was fricking glowing. Her skin hasn’t had a glow since about 03-04. The top half of her looks great, it’s below the waist where it starts to get hinky. She’s another one who has to, just has to, be graded on a curve. And on her curve, this is amazing.
She looks grown up in the face now- not old, but she’s definitely not a kid any more. That’s kinda cool.
@Sandra- oh HELL YES. Hates open toed boots. Hates them forever. I’m all for a nice peep toe shoe, but peep toe boot? YUCK.
Funereal sequined tap pants, is this what we have come to as a society? And I can’t think of any reason to make those quasi-boots cut off her calves in that particular spot that is guaranteed to make her legs too plump and stumpy.
I feel bad for her, she looks so heavily sedated, it´s like she´s not even there. I would venture to say she suffers from some pretty serious mental illness, which is really sad, and it is a real stuggle. I really don´t get people are assuming she´s happy, just because she´s been carted out to an awards show.
Best hair in years but that romper is just a mess. I wish she’d been wearing Victoria Justce’s dress or just something better than this. oy. It’s as bad as that shoddy ass tribute they gave her.
OK… she makes me sad.
However, if one were to cut the bottoms off that outfit and make it a shiny t shirt to wear with some good dark jeans, I’d be all over it.

Aww, I never liked her music, but I must say I am glad she is not Lohan, or Hilton, and it’s good to see her back to less crazy. Also, the suit on her current dating guy was actually pretty sharp. He should ditch those shoes though.
Britany Honey, I’m with so many folks here – just leave the Biz, get some nice friends, and be happy – and if you must stay in the Biz, please never wear anything like this again, peek toe boots are wrong, they are seriously too tight, and you look dumpy in this – and please you used to have nice hair, it CAN happen again.
I wanted to cry when they did the tribute. It really felt like she was dying or dead…or something.

I’d like to see Britney change her hair. the overly-yellow-limpy-dark-roots look is so over. She’s a grown up. Britney and Averill need to do a teen pop star make-over reality show.
Open toed boots are just wrong and should be banned. That’s all.
Well she looks more mature now, and in a good way. Such a pity she hasn’t matured with any dress sense. Not that she has to dress like an old lady, but really, those boots do nothing fore her legs and that low slung belt and that skating skirt/hot pants…….crikey.
If she persists in this business, she’ll be dressing this way at public appearances for decades to come. We shouldn’t let that happen, should we? I hope she retires to a nice quiet piece of land in France and stays home for a while.
Yes, her fashion sense sux as always, but boy I’m glad to see her look healthy, glowing and pretty happy, it seems.
