I believe Remembrance Sunday is rather like the American Memorial Day, although presumably with fewer barbeques, and Kate (with Sophie Wessex) is wearing something appropriately solemn for such a serious event. I would, however, like to know what they're talking about, since Sophie seems to be saying, "can you believe it?" and Kate's reply seems to be, "I AM SO SURE."
