I watched John Carter the other night. It wasn’t as terrible as I was lead to believe. It was okay even.
I thought John Carter was a fun, pulpy movie that suffered from being horribly marketed. I think people may have also rooted for it to fail because it was so expensive. It’s too bad.
I had the same reaction. There were good parts and silly parts, but it was definitively not awful. But you wouldn’t have gotten any of that from the marketing. I only went to see it because Texas forever.

My friend met Salma a few years back at the SAG awards. She said she was even more absolutely gorgeous in person and that she was self deprecating as they commiserated for a few moments over the curse of having large hips. She seems like a cool chick.
She’s one of those people who do not photograph well. You see her picture and go wow she’s so pretty, then you see her in real life and she is painfully blindingly beautiful. A friend and I saw her once in a Joe Malone in NYC and we couldn’t believe how much prettier she is.

I’m really stressed out because this is the second premiere that Tami Taylor has shown up to “support” Riggins at. I’m very worried there is something going on there!
I just happened to be visiting another blog, innocently flicking through some old Oscar photos (as you do) and did a double-take when I saw that these are the same emerald earrings as Reese wore last year.
So now I am imagining this whole secret bff thing they have where they have smashing cocktail parties and loan each other their fabulous jewels.
