I’m snorting in my cube… I saw this on E! but not quite these shots…. LMAO! He’s still totally hot.
I never had a “thing” for Pattinson, but I think he would jump up in my hotness meter if he shaved it all off. The side with his hair shaved off is super hot. I always thought the test of a truly good looking guy was if he looked good with a shaved head.

He sort of baffles me every time he goes out. And are Robert and Kristen a real life couple? I’ve never figured out if that’s just wishful fan speculation, a publicity stunt, true, or a weird combination. What do you all think?

I would think that RPattz would relish the chance to have a really bad haircut. It would be like saying, “My hair looks as stupid and ugly as possible. ALL RIGHT!! Let’s see if the screaming, intrusive fans eventually go away!”

Why Oh Why didn’t he wear a hat. Or slick the rest down so it wouldn’t be so noticeable. For someone who hates being the center of attention, he’s pretty much assuring he’ll be the center of attention.
It’s a shame he couldn’t have gone through this hair awkwardness at the same time Kristen had the Joan Jett mullet. Maybe that would have thinned the hordes of Twilight fans.
Sometimes really beautiful actors do silly things to their hair, refuse to be in romantic comedies, act like they are Above It All with their Royal Shakespeare la de da … like Ralph and Hugh Grant did until all of a sudden their handsome sullen faces could be seen next to Jlo( that will teach you) and Andie Macdowell, neither great actresses. So, the lesson is, Robert, get a sense of humor about yourself, embrace your lusciousness and have some fun with the fame and fortune you find yourself underservingly owning….

I agree with AP too. Though I still don’t know if I’d see the attraction, I’d think he looks better.
Kristen’s outfit ought to be fugged – but then again, it rather speaks for itself. I think they are together; I am embarrassed to have read this much, but in a Comic-Con something-or-other Kristen said that Robert reaps all the benefits of her obsession with cooking shows. Sounds couple-y to me, on top of all the other evidence.

i think he’s hot. the cover for gq? please. i like the hair because it goes against the pretty and with his bone structure, he needs a little roughness to make it all work.
what i will never understand is why people are attracted to edward and how in the name of all that is good could breaking dawn ever be made into 2 movies? 2 movies? i feel like i’m crazy for how much i believe this should never have been allowed to happen.

From the first picture it looks like his scalp was slapped on askew, and now I can’t unsee that and it’s totally disturbing.
In some strange way it totally works on him. He’s hotness personified, IMO, but he always looks stoned somehow. He also looks like’s starting filming in the remake of The Fifth Element as the Gary Oldman character.
Which would be awesome, by the way.

What AP said – shaggy side I’m all “eh”, but then shaved side I’m all “Helloo jawline!”. Somehow the shaved head is just enough taxi-driver adjacent to make his general scruffiness (I’m looking at you stubble and eyebrows) appealing instead of unhygenic.
I have never gotten the attraction to begin with, but this makes me want to throw up. I get that he wants to look bad/ is trying to temper the screaming hordes, and that it could be for a role but TAKE A SHOWER!
I wonder if he got his hair cut at Toronto’s Coupe Bizzarre (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/coupe-bizzarre-toronto), which specializes in the asymmetrical, loves the buzz cut, and is the hippest salon in town. (Yep, I’m sporting an asymmetrical, nearly-buzzed CP cut myself.)

Yeah, his eyes are asymmetrical–something to do with the eyelid shape, I guess. I’m amused by how he’s still hot but he’s sort of two different guys depending on which profile we’re seeing. Also, we’ve seen plenty of smiling KStew pictures (including with finger guns, my personal favorite), no need to commemorate this one. I think RPattz is a total goofball in a likeable way–it stands to reason he’d show up looking like this instead of either shaving the head or going baseball cap on us.
I have always been struck by his handsomeness ever since The Goblet of Fire, but lately it’s been spoiled by the stoned expression. And there are so many hats he might have chosen. Pity.

OK the funny part about this is that RPatz has always reminded me of my best friend’s son ( who might as well be MY kid, I luvs him so much). Now with the hair, even more so. See, my boy has autism and while he’s the most fabulous character in the world, cutting his hair is the equivalent of trying to pluck the eyebrows of a Tasmanian Devil. It takes at least 3 people and you’d swear he had feeling in his hair ( pretty normal for kids with texture issues)….. so he,more than once, has sported this do! Add to that, when he brushes his hair, he completely brushes, spritzes and smooths the front, and never the back. haha!

Never got the appeal. Probably because, in the Uk, this whole look (not this exact haircut, which is, uh, unique) is ten a penny on any high street in any town in the country. He looks like any slouchy, floppy-haired sixth former you’d stand next to at a bus stop for half an hour and not notice. He’s not even interesting or quirky looking, just very, very ordinary. Clearly, it’s all about the “character” (and I use that term in the loosest possible sense of the word).

Good for him for not trying to remain pretty for the sake of his fan girls, though I realize it’s for a movie role. And look at K. Stew! She’s looking pretty and feminine…and not constipated as she is wont to do.
It is for the movie Cosmopolis. In the storyline, he leaves the salon in the middle of his haircut. The movie just wrapped last week and they are leaving it like that in case of re-shoots. I think it shows he isn’t all about his looks that he didn’t cover it up. He wore a hat out and about the San Diego Convention Center sometimes at ComicCon, but not that much. He didn’t do this haircut as a fashion statement. Just sayin’…whether you dig him or not, it is for the movie part…
He’s really enjoying himself with this hair XD I hope he keeps it or goes back to it when not doing films.

Whoa. He’s so English. I mean, I never really realized how English he looks. With that haircut he belongs in Haircut 100 or maybe even Flock of Seagulls. It’s amazing how the camera leeches out all the boyo/yabbo out of him and makes him seem so so pretty in an Edwardian manner.

Everyone has their panties in a wad for nothing. He just finished filming Cosmopolis. In the movie he is going to get a haircut, and because of circumstances beyond his control he has to leave the shop before its finished. It’s obviously why Cronenberg had to save that part to film last. He couldn’t film the whole movie like that. Thus, he had to do Comic con with Eric hair probably in case of rehoots. I love the fact that he doesn’t put on airs and is just plain ole Rob. What you see is what you get, no pretenses, like ot or not. Personally I love it.
