Holy crow. I don’t know who is styling Kiki now, but she has been KILLING IT.
This is obviously incredibly simple, but she looks so chic — and not bridal (or not traditionally bridal. I would actually wear this at my wedding, depending on the wedding [note: I am not currently planning a wedding, but one must, like a Girl Scout, be prepared]). After years of seeing her walking around places wearing, like a muumuu, a tube top, and a pair of crusty 70s clogs, this feels INSANELY refreshing. Like outfit sorbet.

I think this is another one of those instances where the person usually looks like such a mess that when they look better we all go OHMIGOD!! I mean, if this was on anyone else we’d maybe say “Hmmm….”, “Meh”, “Um”….but because it’s KiKi and she’s normally such a hot mess….for her we say FANTASTIC!

So, so beautiful. Kiki has always held a special place in my fashion heart, because the very first issue of Vogue I ever bought was when Marie Antoinette came out, and she was on the cover of that year’s September issue. There was this amazing spread featuring her & the rest of the cast that was shot at Versailles – does anyone else remember that? I had the tear-outs on my bedroom wall for like three years. Anyway, this made me really happy – so glad she / her stylist / the universe has started to find a style that really works for her. Yay!
I bought that issue of Vogue and still have it! I love it so much that I treasure it and I’m never getting rid of it!

I LOVE Kiki, I think she’s both beautiful and interesting-looking, and I like her best in vintage-inspired looks, like the dress with the illusion bodice that was posted recently. I think this is a miss for me, though close. Is it just me or do her proportions look weird in this picture, like her head looks massive compared to her body? Also, this dress looks very SWINTONIAN to me, and then I imagine SWINTON in it, with all her regal lankiness, and then poor Kiki just can’t compare.
Definitely not bad AT ALL. She is, and has been a pretty young woman, and she looks very nice. I do, however, have some very similar Xmas ornaments as this pic. She just needs a gold harp or lute and some wings.

It’s the year of the Kiki. I love her and I’m so happy to see her get her groove back. She’s had her ups and downs. But that’s to be expected – she’s grown up famous in the public eye since she was four! (remember her from the vampire movie!). and unlike some wanna-be boho hippies (ahem maggie gyllenhaal), she’s doesn’t come across as uppidity or sanctimonious or like she’s on a soap box. I love her cuz she’s real – goofy with warts and human. Anyway, I think she’s absolutely adorable, and it’s awesome to see her back in the spotlight and happy and healthy. Go Kiki! An absolute palate cleanser, that is GORGEOUS! And I find it particularly endearing that the best back shot you could find was a humbly executed side shot, rather than a cheeky back-looked “and check out the BACK!” pose. Kiki is worthy of a girl crush just for that. Oh, and may I borrow the clutch?
My first thought was mother of the bride, but I definitely see Christmas Tree angel after reading the other comments. In either event, I think she somehow manages to pull it off. But my real comment is in homage to “outfit sorbet”. Brilliant!

I have never been a Kirsten Dunst fan, but I love this. It’s so elegant and tasteful, yet not matronly.

Beautiful, but maybe I’m biased because that is almost precisely the wedding gown my mom wore to her 196X wedding, and I wore to my 200X wedding. So actually, I don’t see it as vaguely reminiscent of a wedding gown, no. That’s a very lovely bride.
I trust Dunst’s beauty and this burst of immaculate styling will indeed save her from the righteous mass psychology of guilt-by-association.

Yeah, I still don’t get it. I agree with what someone else said up there, that this is just such an improvement from some of her previous looks, but it’s still not fab. It’s still a snoozefest. Well, everything except the bag, obviously. I really do like her hair & well, her in this pic, but this outfit is everything that’s already been said above (Christmas tree angel, cult member, Leia) and deserves a “Better played”…I still think she can do a lot better, especially considering how pretty she’s looked lately.

Though she wears it well, the front shot kind of reminded me of an all white nun’s outfit (probably because of its simplicity, the length, and the overly straight, bed-sheet-like hem). I was not completely sold until you posted the shot of the back/side-shot of the dress. The back is gorgeous.

All that she needs is the “flying nun” headpiece and a large rosary added to that belt. This looks too much like a nun’s garb, plus it is boring. The bag, though, is fabulous.

I have always HATED Kiki. Seriously. Since Interview with the Vampire. Despite hating her with the fiery passion of 1,000 suns, she doesn’t look disgusting (like she normally does) here. The outfit is boring, but not ugly. The bag though is magnificent.
