If this were a scene out of a Will Smith movie, he’d make that exact expression and be all, “What’s all that racket, y’all?” and then probably break the fourth wall and… I don’t know, come out with a song called, “Racketology,” and then try to put his face on some tennis shirts. … Shoot, now I kind of hope he makes that movie.

Ok, let’s just start with the fact that Will Smith never ages. He looks fantastic. And he nailed that white suit. Some dude – was it Seal? – was recently featured on here in a white suit and the shoes were a big miss. Will’s gray shoes are awesome. He always looks great, he’s always smiling, his movies are enjoyable (for the most part). Rock on, Will, rock on.
True dat. I was watching reruns of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air recently and yep, the man has barely aged a day since!
I was just thinking that when I saw the MIB commercials. He looks great! I loved all of his suits, but maybe it’s just because I adore him. I wish I could say the same about Jada, but alas, I cannot.
Seriously. I was mesmerized by how good he looks in that white suit. Perfectly executed.
First, Rick Moranis yes! Second (and admittedly off topic), I’ve seen the MIB3 preview a whole bunch of times now, and I still crack up every time at Josh Brolin doing TLJ. Even if everything else sucks, that alone is the worth the price of a ticket.
Good day, Mr. Federer!
Jada scares me. I always feel like shes going to reach through my computer screen and beat my ass.
Will, on the other hand, still has that Big Willie Style. Well done good sir!
Thanks a lot Stefanie!
I had a mouth ful of Weight Watchers Rigatoni with Vodka Sauce (disgusting but only 8 points) and because of your comment about Jada I now have to clean my keyboard. But I totally agree. Jada really takes the “looking fierce” thing a bit too far.
I’m pretty sure Jada’s outfit *is* secretly pants, actually. Which is a shame, because I like her in softer things – she is so robo-babe herself that the super-sleek stuff just turns her into all angles.
Will Smith is apparently the world’s biggest movie star, and I *love* the fact that he embraces that in public appearances. There’s none of this hiding his light under a bushel *coughBrangelina*coughDepp*cough. His suits are fantastic.
Yes, those are pants… Yikes.
Yes, the first thought that ran through my mind was, “Are we SURE those aren’t pants? Like, really REALLY sure? I may need more proof.”
Yeah, I like that about Will Smith. He knows fully well that he is blessed in his success and he doesn’t angst about it. He always seems to happy to be where he is.
Yeah! He seems like an all-around great guy. Hmm…if Reagan did it, why can’t he? WILL SMITH 2024!
Yup, pants. In fact, an Armani jumpsuit. Google it and every place covering that premiere red carpet IDs it as so.
There must be more information about Mr. Pink Jacket And His Red Shoes. What the hell is up with THAT?
There’s no need to comment on Will. Even if he’s dressed crazily, which he mostly isn’t here, he’s still good looking. And I am happy to take the oath as a subject of Federeria.
That’s Barry Sonnenfeld (aka the director).
I love the red shoes. I love it when guys are otherwise conservatively dressed but then you see some fun detail, like colored socks, or crazy glasses, or something. Props to the guy who works with my husband (at a radiology clinic) who wears purple suede shoes.
Roger is ALWAYS a bonus.
In the picture with Jada in the debatable pants, his suit looks like one of those magic eye pictures. I felt like if I stared at it long enough, the 3D T-Rex would be visible. But I was afraid I’d throw up first. That thing made me motion sick. He looks fine the rest of the time–good, even. But that one needs to just be retired and never spoken of again.
Yes to a Rick Moranis second coming! Can he do a cameo in an SNL Digital Short or something?
Ahh, Roger… And Serena Williams looked great this week too- great hair, great outfit.
Will Smith does not age. He wears his suits with positively Cary Grant aplomb. But have to say, Barry Sonnenfeld is the winner here. Love the pink and red. So nonchalant.
Totally agree about Barry Sonnenfeld!
There are no words for how much I love Will’s optical illusion suit. It is wonderful beyond all wonders.
Oooh, Federer. I clicked through all that Will nonsense just to get to that. Thx.
Yeah, will always look like a giant happy labador puppy and Jada seems pinched. I realize with aging some women get more pinched looking, but it’s especially obvious against her big happy puppy of a husband.
And I too will see MIB3 just to see Josh Brolin. That was a nice bit of casting. It’s probably the ONLY reason why I would see the movie too. Oh and Emma Thompson. Nice cameo lady!
“Pinched” is the perfect way to describe Jada Pinkett-Smith’s current face. She’s an attractive woman but she tends to look hard on the red carpet, which is a uniformly unflattering look. I think she’d look better if she wore softer makeup and didn’t narrow her eyes just so in pictures.
Heather, I appreciate your enjoyment of Feddy; he IS so dreamy, no? Am puzzled as to what he’s going to do with a suit in a frame, however. Oh Will and Barry, your shameless promotion knows no bounds. No bounds at all. The Madrid Open trophy looks like a metal dildo. Yikes.
Btw, Will Smith certainly knows how to wear a suit, be it Colonel Sanders white or static snow.
Again, I find myself loving a jumpsuit. And all the other suits involved and the men in them and the red shoes and pink jacket.
Ah, the crazy, kooky Madrid Masters tournament. How I enjoy Ion Tiriac’s yearly shenanigans. Will Smith and his entourage, which also included Josh Brolin, were certainly an improvement on the last time a Hollywood star graced the trophy ceremony. A couple of years ago they had Hilary Swank out there presenting Roger with a ginormous key for the Lexus he had just won, like they were on The Price is Right or something. So, no, I don’t think he was fazed by the framed suit.
Ahhhh! Two of my favorites together, Roger and Fug Girls, like chocolate and peanut butter.
Gracious, Jada! Why so ugly?
Thank you for the Giant Racket and the “giant gold screw thing”!
Rick Moranis retired after he was widowed in 1991. Not likely he’s going to make a comeback.
Will Smith always brings a smile to my face. Jada? not so much :-/
Not digging that terrible jumpsuit and the fact that her cheeks always look like they were stung by a bee swarm *sigh*
i always say that the cow roger got early on in his second-part (higher part) of his career was good practice for straight-facedness during award ceremonies.
but c’mon madrid! one ahem-like trophy AND a framed suit?
you’re testing a man’s patience here.
THANK YOU FOR BONUS FEDERER! He is like a ray of sunshine in my dreary morning. Stay classy, Roger!
Federer deserves an Oscar for not looking the least bit offended by this.
Will looks great. That man is handsome.
I actually really like Jada’s princess pink thing – jumpsuit or not. And I liked the black one too. She’s a tiny morsel of awesome.
But seriously, this was still a schmear on the name of tennis.
