Golden Globes Fugs and Fabs: The Empty-Handed Modern Family Cast
I’m not saying it was the wrong decision — Modern Family hasn’t been as strong — but more that these guys must have started to feel like The Sopranos of comedy, where all they have to do is show up and people would throw golden things at them. I do hope that someday Sofia Vergara wins one, though, because that acceptance speech is going to be amazing. I sincerely hope that if/when it happens, it’s one of those that’s chock-full of good-spirited taunting that’s meant to be funny but nobody in the audience is totally sure if they’re allowed to laugh.
