In a way, I am actually really relieved that Mischa Barton looks moderately cracked out here:
Primarily because I fear change. But also because I feel like this dress means she’s been spending some time lurking around the edges of the Game of Thrones set, and if we’re lucky, she might show up in season three as some kind of freaky sorceress and, frankly, her career could use the boost.
I don’t SUPER love this — it looks a bit like formal astro-turf — but it is SO MUCH BETTER than almost anything Mischa wore at any time over the past five-ish years that props must be given:
(Yeah, I’d swap the shoes out, too. But still. She has taken a very sharp veer away from Fug Madness Candidate in the last few weeks. It’s extremely relieving.)

But if she is, Mischa needs to send her a bonus. RIGHT THIS INSTANT.

To me, that looks more like something she bought for Coachella and then stuck some ruffles on the neck. But maybe I’m not giving her enough credit for the fact that, while it looks for a second as if it MIGHT be transparent, it is not. HALLELUJAH FOR THAT. Most of her cohorts would’ve ripped out the lining.

Fug or Fab: Mischa Barton
It seems that our girl Mischa, a year and a half removed from her Fug Madness finals spot, has now opened an eponymous boutique in England. Leaving aside my basic mistrust of her clothing-selection skills (she very publicly only improved at dressing herself after she hired a stylist), let’s take a look at what she wore for the opening. The good news: Her sign is pretty.
