Heather and I are delighted to have info about our upcoming event in Chicago to share with you, at last! We will be appearing at the Printers Row Lit Fest on Saturday, June 6th, at 1 p.m., with a signing immediately following. Although you are not required to attend the discussion in order to get something signed, we certainly hope you’ll pop by, because our “panel” is actually just the two of us up there chatting to Beth Fenner, Editor-in-Chief of Chicago Magazine. We are hoping all kinds of exciting things will come out of our mouths about The Royal We and writing as a pair and whatever else she (or you!) wants to know, so please come say hello, and ask questions about the book, the blog, Prince Harry, Chloe Sevigny, the tyranny of The Sheers — whatever burning query presents itself to you.
Tickets ARE required, because it’s an indoor venue, and you can pre-purchase them here for $2. You can also get a limited number of tickets on the day of the event, beginning fifteen minutes prior to the start of the panel (so, at 12:45 p.m.), just in case you need to play it by ear. And again, if you miss the panel, you can still come to the signing and get hugs and gossip and whatnot.
There are details about the event here on our Facebook page, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask us here or on Twitter, or via email, or on the aforementioned Facebook event page, and we will to our best to figure it all out for you. We are very much looking forward to it! (And it feels right to finally make it to Chicago with a book whose heroine is a die-hard Cubs fan. We cannot even tell you how disappointed we are that they’re on a road trip and we couldn’t arrange a GFY Field Trip to Wrigley Field. Next time?)
