You may — or may not — have heard that Emma here signed a two-year deal to be a face of Louis Vuitton, joining such luminaries as Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly, and Sophie Turner. (Page Six puts the deal at $10 million.) These deals are great financially, for sure, but having seen how constricting and dull they’ve been for those who sign them — J.Law for Dior being arguably the most infamous, although all the aforementioned LV deals have been aesthetically problematic most of the time — I’m sort of bummed to see Emma getting roped into a house that’s more weird than wonderful. The upside is that this means a high potential for wackiness at major events, though, so as far as this site’s raison d’etre… well, we might be in good shape there.
