... Kim attended on the arm of Jonathan Cheban, rather than as her husband Kris Humphries. If you believe the tabloids, this might be because she hates her new husband, although maybe he just didn't feel like going as Batman. (I wrote this before she filed for divorce this morning, which... we called that when her PEOPLE wedding cover was JUST of her, and also, like, was there ever MORE a case of someone who wanted a wedding and didn't actually think about the marriage? Or wanted a baby/the baby press/baby endorsement riches without actually thinking about the family it would be coming into? Thank God THAT didn't happen, for the kid's sake. I read the $18 mil she made selling the rights to the wedding works out to ten grand a day that she was married, which... I hope she gives it to charity, and also, that finally people stop the madness with them because THEY ARE RIDICULOUS and this whole thing seemed kind of grossly transparent from the get-go. Also, way to go Khloe and Lamar, who somehow seem like the only sane ones.)
Parenthetically, I ALSO love that Cheban -- her random friend who I think was on some reality show she produced about PR people -- decided to go as Robin, aka the wussiest character in all of Batman. This is a wonderful pairing and I am sure he was not at ALL checking his giant watch every five minutes to see if he could go yet.
