Now that we’ve pulled our heads out of the Oscars’ darkest orifice, we can focus on the fact that other things also happened in the world. Like, say, the premiere of Take Me Home Tonight, a movie whose existence sort of confuses me, except that it’s an excuse to use the song “Take Me Home Tonight” in the previews. Apparently Topher Grace is in it, although I bet if you asked, he’d say, “Yeah, the existence of this movie confuses me, too. I’m so much better than this.”
And the premiere was a total mixed bag: Some people, like Teresa Palmer and Michelle Trachtenberg and Jaime King, tried; other people, like Debbie Gibson and some unnamed people in pink pants, seemed to think they were at a costume party. Guess nobody is quite sure what the hell is happening, or where.
