Also, according to imdb, Scarlett is 5’4″. Looking at those wicked high shoes (they have to be AT LEAST 4″ AND have a platform), Matt Damon isn’t that short.
Plus her hair adds another two or three inches…
Imdb.com has Matt Damon at 5’10 so that probably means he’s really about 5’8 or 5’9 which would make their height difference about right.

I like the concept… the cut of the top is classy, the skirt is full and flirty, but I don’t think it should be two pieces. The shoes save this from being a total disaster as does her styling. Just sow it back together and it’s all good!

Not with a ten foot pole. Damon (never one of my favourites) looks terrible here. The Bald is not working in this photo. However I think it’s genetic, that at the mention of his name every single women sits up and takes notice.

Honestly, I fear for ScarJo when she’s left to her own styling devices. Girlfriend either looks stunning, or deplorable.
Seriously? Although I personally love that hairstyle, and think it’s very flattering, I can see how it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But what about her makeup makes it ‘casino waitress?’ It’s a relatively moderately smoky eye and otherwise very neutral makeup, and I think it looks really pretty on her. And what could possibly be wrong with her teeth here?
I like the hair too… at least it’s done. Half the time women on the red carpet look like they took their hair washing tie ups down and shook their heads and called it good. I like DONE hair.
Not a fan of the make up…but it’s because it’s too modern for the hair and dress.

As for the teeth…I think we are so conditioned to see caps of an unnatural color that when people see actual teeth that aren’t fake or bleached to glow in the dark, they’re thrown off.
Well, I think her makeup is garish. And she’s a beautiful girl, obviously, but she needs to lay off the red wine and Parliaments.

I’ve never understood the to-do around ScarJo. Looks-wise, she doesn’t really seem to have anything to make her stand out from the sea of petite waif-ish blonde 20-somethings in Hollywood. And the only thing she’s ever done that I liked was throw Ryan Reynolds back into the dating pool.
Scarlett has an old Hollywood sexy bombshell look, which so many petite blondes lack, and besides being talented, she’s gorgeous… That’s what’s so special about her!
I totally agree. I kind of get her “look” (curvy and a little unique looking compared to the typical blond Hollywood waif) but I find her SO annoying to watch on screen that I pretty much can’t sit through an entire movie with her in it. Something about her voice, and she also comes off as incredibly vapid and unintelligent in interviews. I also think her acting is subpar and don’t find her all that talented. She’s best in roles where she doesn’t speak much (sorry) or where she can be a little quirky (not set up as some classy or clever bombshell – I just can’t buy her in those rolls…)
The runway version works, but on that model, there was a good four inches of bare skin between the bottom of the bustier and the waist of the skirt. Here, the skirt both rides too high and the hem is way too long. I assume it was borrowed and couldn’t be altered? I like the 40s styling of her hair, although I’m not sure about the pink lipstick.
Lace? It resembles brown sofa upholstery to me. A crop top is suitable only for the gym. He looks like a hideous putz, as does any man shaving their head on purpose. She can only be saved by going home and changing and coming back alone.
I’m going with 2 piece dress that looks very 40′s pin up girl in which case the hair makes sense. But over all- bleh.
I dislike her hair, the dress is meh, her shoes are possibly cute hard to tell from the photo.

I’ve met ScarJo, and she is twee. Matt must be on the shorter side. But as someone mentioned, those shoes give her a minimum of 4″ and the hair adds some height too. Tricks of the eye my friends.

A crop top. Really? Even when she makes better style choices I find her to be so awkward on the RC that she’s guaranteed to ruin whatever she wears. And her hair styles are usually pretty bad too. Get it together, girl. Damon’s looking rather awkward here too.

I’m not quite sure what it is (the strip of skin, the belt, or the cut of the top) but ScarJo looks like she’s thickening through the middle. It must be just me because I cannot imagine that’s the look she was going for.

I’m okay with the hair choice with the style of the outfit. I HATE that it’s a two-piece. WHY? WHY? WHY? I’m also not on board with the makeup. There’s nothing WRONG with it, I just think it’s wrong for this particular outfit.
As someone who is also short, but busty/hourglassed, a hem at, or just above the knee would have been more appropriate. No matter how tall those shoes are, her “not tree trunk” legs, are looking more stubby than they should be cause of the hemline.
Also, I like my Damon with hair please. I think he’s delicious, but I hope it’s for a role.
Something about the positioning/shape of Matt Damon’s head causes me to read the poster behind him as We Bought A Poo, which is probably an astute comment on the movie.

I find it refreshing to see something other than brilliant white chicklet veneers. I hate Hollywood teeth, and the expectations they set up for the normies. You can have healthy, lovely teeth without a blinding white color.

Damon is short. He’s never pretended otherwise, unlike some actors (looking at you Russell Crowe). His suit is fine, but hair! He needs hair back.
Have we all forgotten that those are MASSIVE heels? Also, it really doesn’t matter that it’s a crop top and very high waisted skirt as she looks soooo much better than anytime in at least the last 18 months- her hair shade no longer washes her out, plus it’s been washed and, oh gosh, styled. Both good things, as she hasn’t been doing herself justice.

I’ve met him in person, and I’m 5’7″ and he’s around my height. But he’s super nice and funny to rando drunk strangers that might accost him, so you know – don’t care how tall or short he is, I’m always going to root for him.
