Generally I think this outfit is extremely studied — like she is trying to copy her favorite version of Rihanna.
But here’s the thing: While I am not sold on the spiky gelled hair nor the carefully careless-looking hat, she is not doing a horrible job with this. In fact, she’s almost selling it. That skirt is quite striking. The midriff sliver is the right width. I even don’t mind her crazy plum lipstick. I don’t know what it is about this goofball seventeen-year old that makes me amused and tolerant instead of the hollowed-out hag we all know I am.
