At this point, the finale season is a failure if it DOESN’T end with Georgina Sparks poisoning their food and then becoming President.

The dream sequence reenacts a fairly famous scene from Charade between Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. I liked the reference and thought it was somewhat topical.
YES! I loved the reference. And I just watched Charade the week before so it was a nice little deja vu moment for my life.
I haven’t seen that movie in YEARS, so I totally didn’t remember that. But I still didn’t like it.
And what was with the horribly cheesy “suspense” music when Bart and Chuck were scuffling?? This episode was cringe-worthy on so many levels…
If this show does not end with a piano landing on the well- and poorly-coiffed heads of Serena and Dan, respectively, as they kiss outside of the PRADA apratment building, then this will be the worst series finale ever.
Any one who’s been watching knows that by now the writers clearly don’t care, nor does half of the cast (I’m being generous there) but now even the score guy? What was with that music? And how in the name of all that is good in the UES are they going to wrap this up tonight? If I don’t get my Chuck and Blair wedding I am going to be throwing headbands at my tv! Also it would be great if as was previously suggested Serena and Dan can bite it in the end.
The score was so incredibly over the top, like something at a Punch and Judy show, that I was convinced it was all a dream sequence ala the ridiculous opening scene.
But it wasn’t… was it?
I can’t believe how quickly a guilty secret became a shameful pile of rubbish.
Can’t wait for tonight!
Dan’s missive:
“She demonstrates goodness. She is full of hope and delights in the hopefulness of others. That is what makes her golden.” *Snort*
“When her brother, Eric, had a hard time, Serena raced home from boarding school even though it meant losing her closest friends”. *Giggle*
“After a brief hiccup where we got over the idea of being step-siblings, Serena was fearless”. *Guffaw*
Worst written TRIPE! Plus…was it written on a typewriter? Or printed on a dot matrix? I keep looking for the peg perforations. Or maybe he’s just never heard of Arial. *shrug*
Don’t know why I’m focused on this so much…but it really makes me laugh!
“SHEDANIGANS”
That was seriously the best haha

I haven’t been watching this, just reading the Fugcaps, but when and how did Dan get rich?
Dan got rich when he sold the Hollywood rights to his novel (it was a one-line mention in this episode) – I’m guessing the new one, because I seem to recall the old one being scammed away from him by someone?
Honestly, I’m just glad this show is finally over. I’ve been torn between dropping it and just sticking it out a few more episodes. This season has been just horrible.
Also, love Shedanigans.
SHEDANIGANS!
That ending with the over-the-top music and Bart’s fall to his death…. That was a joke, right? I feel like the next episode is going to start by showing us that this is just how Chuck imagined it in his head before eventually pulling Bart over the rail, at which point Bart realizes the error of his evil ways, ending with Bart catching the garter at Chuck and Blair’s wedding (because Lily chose Rufus. Or whatever.).
Slide 24 freaked me out, for a second there it looked like Sage had an extra arm lol
