Every story I found about this was all, “Proof positive that a simple black shirt-dress never fails,” and “timeless, chic” yada-yada (yet no designer credit). Except this isn’t particularly simple or timeless; it’s more of a slapdash patchwork of a shirtdress she used to love, and a negligee she didn’t need anymore. A good rule of thumb for any person is, I tend to think, to avoid looking like your cate ate the first version of the garment.
