Considering that this outfit involves a heavy velvet skirt adorned with what MIGHT be a dolphin in sunglasses surfing on a bird, this is surprisingly okay. The length is stumpifying — it falls right in Tailoring No Man’s Land for me — but the happy glow of that blouse is doing a LOT of good overall. In other words: Unlike Maverick, whose ego wrote checks his body couldn’t cash, that skirt is doing a pretty good job taking any and all payments straight to the bank.
