Everyone is fairly well-dressed in this post — even maybe Gwen Stefani! But for some reason, Ryan Gosling brought two outfits, one with accompanying prosthetics: After walking the carpet in regular gear, he reprised his Saturday Night Live Beavis costume alongside Mikey Day’s Butthead, from a sketch in which two audience members on a political show happen to resemble the famous cartoon characters. This sketch made the rounds partly because the costumes are so good, but also because when Heidi Gardner turns to catch a glimpse of Day, she completely loses it:
Mikey Day doesn’t seem to be in this movie, so I’m not… totally sure why they went to all this trouble? Can ANYONE possibly have been concerned this premiere wouldn’t get enough attention? Maybe Ryan is just REALLY eager to bury Ken, and Beavis certainly would (gladly) do it.
