I admit to being amused by Melissa’s graffiti-style dress.
I can only read “YES,” “NO GAMES,” and “REBEL.” But it’s eye-catching and it feels a little pointed somehow at all the jackholes who were never prepared to like the all-female Ghostbusters reboot. I mean, dislike it if you want on its actual demerits, if you’ve SEEN it, but don’t decide before it even comes out that it’s inferior because it’s women. I don’t know what all this dress says, but something about it projects an attitude of, “I’m fed up with small-minded fools.”
But, my mind is going to shrink now, because…
… We get to the bottom and suddenly it’s peep-toe hooves, and I’m feeling my spirits trampled.
