It makes me feel surprisingly better to note that Nicole Scherzinger can’t find a cape that doesn’t make her look like she’s wearing a tablecloth EITHER. Stars ARE just like us.

Woah. The black only on top makes her look like she has a floating head (in the small version of the pic, anyway), and the red makes it look like a graduation gown. :S
That said, I’m loving the expression on her face. I think she’s about to break into song.

Star Trek indeed, and the red shirts were always the expendable ones, knocked off as a plot enhancer. She should have gone with Harvest Gold. Or baby blue.
I have seen this precise garment on Ming the Merciless in that 1980s Flash Gordon film. Maybe she bought it from Max von Sydow’s car boot sale.
I, too, thought of Star Trek right away…and realized that had I seen this on a fellow Geek I would have given mad props for being the best of the crazy. However, it’s red, therefore we KNOW she isn’t really a Geek..unless she’s a Trekkie with a death wish…and then…well, that’s just sad.
Somebody give her Anne Hathaway’s phone number, stat!
That isn’t a cape, it’s a poncho. I guess Scherzinger makes it look about as good as one of those can. They’re just a bad idea.
I keep thinking that the hand at her shoulder belongs to her and that she’s come down with a wicked case of Tiny Hand.
It doesn’t help that this particular cape is all kinds of CRAZY.

And this reminds me of the trailer released yesterday, for the new Star Trek movie- “Into Darkness”, in theaters next May. I go to the movies these days about twice a year (Hobbit, here I come, woo hoo!) and this will be next summer’s.
