So, a couple of months ago, there was this rumor that Letizia was over being a princess, and now there’s this story in Vanity Fair which is pretty unflattering to the Spanish royal family, albeit juicy in the way that only Vanity Fair can pull of (um, the king has been hunting elephants? Don’t do that. He’s also perhaps been having an affair with one “Princess Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, a glamorous, 46-year-old, twice-divorced German businesswoman.” His grandson accidentally shot himself in the foot [literally]. His daughter’s handball-champion husband is probably embezzling an obscene amount of money from a non-profit, and it might have been on the say-so of the palace. Etc). But she’s certainly out putting on a brave face.
