Well Played Hair: Hilary Duff

I’m not sure when, exactly, this happened:

But I really like the brunette look on Hilary (ignoring the little braid — let’s just pretend that isn’t there). I always thought the blonde was heavy on her — it was so dry and sculpted and, half the time, overly banged. In fact, I went as her for Halloween back, oh, seven years ago, and my terrible platinum wig looked exactly like her hair. So for my money, this is a great au naturel change. It complements both her skin and her eyes more than the lighter color did, and hey, always better to look like a human being than a hat rack. And now that she’s thankfully stopped bleaching the life out of her hair, we can all start the pregnancy speculation in earnest. Win-win.
