I humbly submit that Mahershala will be the coolest man at this year’s Globes. This suit essentially has been expensively tagged with high-fashion spray paint, and yet it’s striking and polished and my favorite menswear item I’ve seen in a while. I almost wish he’d saved this slice of snazz for the stage on Sunday when he accepts his statuette, although for all I know he’s at home chortling with glee in front of a whole rack of jackets that will blow our minds.
And even if not… my mind might still be shot to hell by him in a classic tux. He is one with the Force, and the Force is one with him.
